Miyazaki City Hall is conducting a survey to help ensure you can live safely and comfortably.

This survey is very important for making Miyazaki City an even better place to live. We look forward to your responses.

・Reason for the survey: To understand the “needs” and “challenges” faced by foreign residents living in Miyazaki City.

・Survey method: A postcard like this will be mailed to you in December. Please respond using the 2D barcode.

・Survey participants: Foreign residents of Miyazaki City aged 18 or older

・Number of questions: About 22

・Estimated time: About 5 minutes

・Survey period: Please reply by Friday, December 26, 2025

Last year (2024), 611 people responded to our survey.

・We increased the number of places where you can study Japanese (Japanese language classes): We listened to your feedback about “where” and “when” people wanted to study, and expanded the locations and times of the classes.

・We are promoting “Easy Japanese”: We are using “Easy Japanese” for announcements from the city hall and to make conversations with local residents easier.
