Overview

・Free COVID-19 vaccinations, both the primary vaccination series (1st & 2nd dose) and autumn/winter vaccinations (boosters) will end on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

  Those who wish to receive the vaccination, please do so within the time period.

・After April 1, 2024, local municipalities will conduct routine vaccinations in the autumn and winter for those 65 years old and older or those 60-64 years old in the target group*. Those who wish to receive the vaccination       outside of the routine vaccinations are expected to receive them at their own expense as a voluntary vaccination.

*Those ages 60-64 years old with a heart, liver, or respiratory condition that severely restricts their personal life, or those with human immunodificiency virus (HIV) and daily life is almost impossible.

For those that moved to Miyazaki City or lost their vaccination voucher, please use the "Vaccination Voucher Application Form" below to have a vaccination voucher reissued or call the Miyazaki City COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center.

  Q. Will the vaccination have a fee starting April 2024?

  Ａ. Local municipalities will conduct routine vaccinations in the autumn and winter for those 65 years old and older or those 60-64 years old in the target group* for the prevention of severe cases of COVID-19 and in principle    will have a fee (there will be no obligation to receive the vaccination and no encouragement by local municipalities.).

  After April 1, 2024, if you wish to receive the vaccination outside of the routine vaccinations, it will be at your own expense as a voluntary vaccination.

　*Those ages 60-64 years old with a heart, liver, or respiratory condition that severely restricts their personal life, or those with human immunodifficiency virus (HIV) and daily life is almost impossible.

  Q. What if I cannot complete the primary vaccination series (1st & 2nd dose) by March 31, 2024?

  A. If you cannot complete the primary vaccination series (1st and 2nd dose) by March 31, 2024, the remaining vaccination will be at your own expense. If you wish to receive the primary vaccination series (1st and 2nd dose),    please complete the required vaccinations by March 31, 2024.

  *For those 6 months old to 4 years old, there are 3 doses in the primary vaccination series for the Pfizer vaccine.
